The Wyoming Cowgirls will be on the road at Boise State on Saturday looking for a season sweep of the Broncos.
Tomorrow’s game is the start of a mid-season stretch of four games away from Laramie.
The Cowgirls are looking to win their tenth conference win tomorrow after improving to 9-2 with a 62-47 win against Utah State in Laramie on Wednesday night. In the start-to-finish win, Allyson Fertig led Wyoming with 13 points, eight rebounds and two blocks. Malene Pedersen also ended in double figures with 10 points, shooting four of seven from the field.
Boise State will come out tomorrow with the No. 1 scoring defense in the league. The Broncos are allowing just 57.2 points per game. Broncos have been on target from 3-point range this year, shooting 36-percent from beyond-the-arc.
Wyoming head coach Heather Ezell said that the Broncos are looking for revenge at home after the Cowgirls won in Laramie 61-37 on December 30th.
The Cowgirls trail the Broncos all time by two games—16-18 is the record.
The contest tips at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Bigfoot 99 will be on the air at 12:30 with the pregame show.
