Sweetwater County Public Health is not closing its doors.

Clinic officials in Rock Springs released a statement on Tuesday, March 3, clarifying essential programs, ranging from immunizations to STI testing, are still available to the community during regular business hours.

While the Western Wyoming Family Planning clinic and VIRS Respite Care – both located within their building – are closing, public health officials say their “programs and services will continue without interruption.”

Sweetwater County Public Health provides:

  • Immunizations
  • STI Testing and Treatment
  • HIV Testing & Case Management
  • Tuberculosis Testing & Case Management, as well as other health care services.
