Average gasoline prices are up again this week, completing a trend that started last month. The price for fuel in Wyoming has rose nearly a penny per gallon last week– 0.8 cents. The average price is now $2.66 per gallon statewide on Monday.
The pricing comes from GasBuddy.com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming.
Prices in Wyoming are 16.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 28.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the lowest price in Wyoming on Sunday was $2.24 per gallon, while the highest was $3.99, a difference of $1.75 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 1.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.88 per gallon Monday. The national average is up 2.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 19.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
The national average price of diesel has increased 6.2 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.686 per gallon.
