As the school year ends, so do the federal waivers that guaranteed all students had access to free meals through their academic institutions for the last two years.

Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare sat down with Carbon County School District One Food Service Director to discuss what this means for students and their families and filed this report.

Any individual or business wishing to donate to offset the cost of meals for children in Carbon County School District One should contact the Food Service Department at (307) 328-9271 or the Business Office at (307) 328-9200.
Applications for free and reduced meals for students can be obtained after July 1st and will be posted at crb1.net or any of the school buildings after August 1st.
