Average gasoline prices in Wyoming ticked upward for the third week in a row. The price at the pump was up 8.3 cents per gallon since last week, and average $2.66 per gallon on Monday, according to GasBuddy.com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming.
The upward tick continues a trend. Prices in Wyoming are 25.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, but still stand 29.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the lowest price in the state Sunday was $2.29 per gallon, while the highest was $3.29, a difference of $1 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 2.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.87 per gallon Monday. The national average is up 4.9 cents per gallon from a month ago, and stands 24.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
The national average price of diesel has increased 1.0 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.624 per gallon.
