Today’s Headlines:

  • In Rawlins on Tuesday night, tensions ran high among some city council members as they sparred during a work session over how to use 8-thousand dollars in project funding from Wyoming Community Gas. By the end of the night, council decided to put a park bench where there already is one…in front of city hall.
  • Frustration was also evident at the Saratoga Town Council meeting on Tuesday night. A resident who had obtained a temporary special use permit to allow an RV to serve as a residence on a lot where that is not allowed under zoning regulations requested a permanent waiver.
  • In an update to a story previously reported by Bigfoot 99, the Carbon County Commissioners are reaching out to other counties across the state before joining a lawsuit against nine major pharmaceutical companies in hopes of holding the drug manufacturers financially responsible for the opiate crisis.
  • The staff at Saratoga Middle High School is combining different learning tools in hopes of exceeding the state’s academic expectations for students.
  • It’s Bohl Mania for the Wyoming Cowboys as they are just a day away from taking on Central Michigan in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. The question leading up to the game was whether or not Quarterback Josh Allen will play after suffering a shoulder injury.
