  • At a board meeting, Carbon County School District #1 approved projects to be completed next summer.
  • In Rawlins, city officials will try again to figure out what to do with more that eight thousand dollars in funding from Wyoming Community Gas. After receiving push-back from the public over a plan to give the money to the Downtown Development Authority, city council tabled the issue. After Bigfoot 99 reached out to the City for an update last week, the council scheduled a workshop for tonight to revisit the issue.
  • After sentencing one woman last week to a term of supervised probation for mailing synthetic marijuana to an inmate at the state prison, a similar sentence was handed down in District Court to the other woman involved in the stunt.
  • The Town of Encampment continues to work through plans for a community fishing pond with hopes of funding from Wyoming Game and Fish.
  • The Saratoga girls basketball team has figured out a way to win early so far this season as they took two out of three in Shoshoni.
