The Mountain West Conference and its television partners at CBS Sports Networks and FOX Sports, yesterday announced the 2025 Mountain West schedule for football.
You can tell the writers for the UW website spend too much time watching television because their sports writing is average at best. We’ve had to work hard to whip this story into shape.
The Wyoming Cowboys air on national TV seven times with four other contests to be announced at a later date.
Highlighting the season will be four primetime home games on CBS Sports starting with the Utah State contest at 6 p.m. on September 13.
The Pokes will play four home contests on CBS this season, all in primetime. Following the game with the Aggies, CBS will air the Wyoming-UNLV game on October 4 and San Jose State on October 11. Both games will kick off at 5 p.m.
The Cowboys will face Colorado State in the Border War on October 25 in a 5:30 p.m. start inside War Memorial Stadium.
Information on Wyoming’s contest against Northern Iowa on September 6 and Nevada in the home finale set for November 22nd will be released in the coming weeks.
The Cowboys season opener on August 28 at Akron is set for 5 p.m. and will air on ESPN+.
The broadcast time for Wyoming’s game at Colorado on September 20 is still to be announced.
The Pokes will face Air Force on the road on October 18 in a contest on CBS Sports Network at 1:30 p.m.
Wyoming’s first trip to Snapdragon Stadium is set for a 5 p.m. MT start against San Diego State on November 1 to be aired on CBSSN.
The Cowboys contest at Fresno State on November 15 will be on Fox Sports with the broadcast time not available until later in the season.
The regular season finale at Hawai’i on November 29 will also have information released in the near future.
The 2025 Mountain West Football Championship game will be nationally televised on FOX for the sixth consecutive year. The championship game is scheduled to kick off Friday, Dec. 5 with a time to be determined later.
