The Wyoming men’s basketball team won their regular season home finale on Tuesday night, overpowering Nevada 83-73.

The Cowboys built a 21-point lead at halftime, 49-28, with 6-4 junior, Khaden Bennett, setting the pace with six three-point shots.

Gavin Gores added 11 points off the bench, including a huge first-half slam dunk that gave Wyoming a 15-4 lead early on.

With the win, Wyoming moved to 17-13 overall and 8-11 in conference play as UW honored graduating seniors in their final home game, Leland WalkerKiani Saxon and Matija Belic.

With the loss, the Wolf Pack fall to 19-11 and 11-8 in Mountain West action.

Head Coach Sundance Wicks saluted the Wyoming seniors during the postgame interview.

The Cowboys close the regular season with a trip to San Jose State on Saturday in a 3 p.m. start.
