In the matchup of #10 seeds Tuesday night in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, the CSU Rams snuffed out 2019 National Champions Virginia 67-42.

Colorado State led by 13 at the half, 27-14. With CSU fans chanting, “We’re not a play in,” the Rams cruised to the win down the stretch.

The Rams were up by 27 points in the second half, with Virginia fans heading to the exits early. CSU star guard Isaiah Stevens had a relatively quiet night with five points, six rebounds and four assists, but the Rams still rolled.

The Rams now will face No. 7 Texas Thursday in a 5 p.m. game.
