At the NCAA Tournament Thursday:

Out of the Mountain West, Nevada is out. The wolfpack’s streak of wins after holding a lead at halftime came to an end with a 63-60 loss to Dayton. The Wolf Pack picked up just two points over the game’s final seven minutes in the loss. Dayton advances to face Arizona; Nevada wraps up the season with a 26-8 record.

Colorado State fell behind Texas 27-11 in the first half last night at the NCAA Midwest first round. The Rams fought back to within seven points but turnovers plagued CSU on the way to a 56-44 loss.

Utah State, looking for its big moment this afternoon when the Aggies play TCU this afternoon.

The No. 5 seed Aztecs play No. 12 seed UAB in first round action on Friday in a game aired on TNT.
