After sorting through literally a dozen tons of trash people stuffed into the two recycle bins stationed on the south and west side of Rawlins in the first three months of this year, the Recycling Division has decided to no longer offer the remote locations as an option for the public. Cali O’Hare has the story.

The Rawlins Recycle Center at 1524 Daley Street is open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon to assist with drop-offs. Otherwise, the yard to the immediate east of the main facility is accessible and monitored by surveillance 24/7.
