Carbon County will go another two weeks before a new Public Health Officer is named. The commissioners initially planned to vote on the matter at yesterday’s meeting, but a couple of outstanding questions led to the postponement.

The contract with Dr. Wayne Couch II expired last Monday. He’s reapplied for the position, along with two other physicians. Cali O’Hare has the latest update in this ongoing story.
