The Wyoming Cowboys basketball team fell by four points on Sunday against #20 Texas Tech. The final score was 76-72.

The game was Wyoming’s first against a “power five” this season.

Senior guard Leland Walker from Indianapolis led the way for Wyoming, pouring in a season-high 28 points. Walker was 10-for-20 from the floor, hitting half of his four 3-point attempts.

Nazir (Naz) Meyer—the 6-7 freshman from Los Angeles scored eight points. Head Coach Sundance Wicks talked after the game about coaching Meyer.

The Cowboys are at home this weekend for Saturday afternoon game against Dartmouth. Tip is set for 2 p.m. inside the Arena Auditorium.
