In Sports, the Wyoming Cowboys host the South Dakota Coyotes tonight inside the Arena Auditorium.
During the Coach’s Show last night with Sundance Wicks, the two opposing teams appeared together at the same restaurant, in Laramie, at the same time. The rival Coyotes were good sports and sent a serving of cheesecake to Coach Wick who sat front and center with broadcaster Kevin Kelley.
The mood was light. Wyoming is 7-0 at home this season. Their two losses came on the road. The Coyotes are 5-5 on the season after falling in overtime to Northern Colorado, while on the road Saturday, by a score of 89-87.
Wyoming is coming off Saturday’s 93-80 win over Dartmouth where the Cowboys overcame a weeklong bout with the flu and many of the players were either sick or recovering. Coach Wicks said the Pokes are recovered, back to health and ready to go tonight.
Cowboys and Jackrabbits tip off tonight at 6:30. Bigfoot 99 will have the game starting with the pregame show at 6.
