The Hanna Recreation Center is hosting a winter bazaar with vendors, games, tree lighting, and a parade.

On Sunday, December 17th, the Hanna Recreation Center will hold its Winter Bazaar. Recreation Director Kim Connolly said the festivities begin at 1:00 pm.

Connolly said she is still looking for people to judge the chili cookoff. The rec director said the winner will receive a free monthly recreation center membership.

After the judging concludes, the chili will be served to the community.

Along with vendors and chili, Connolly said the Hanna Recreation Center will also offer games during the Winter Bazaar.

The annual Christmas parade will be held during the Winter Bazaar. Connolly said the parade route will wind through the town. The rec director encouraged residents to sign up for the parade.

After the Christmas parade, a tree lighting and candlelight vigil will take place. Connolly said free cookies and hot chocolate will be provided.

Proceeds from the candle sales will be donated to the Hanna Cemetery.

Connolly said Santa will also be available to take pictures with attendees in the recreation center’s racquetball court.
